Commitment in contributing to SDGs and creating social value for the society

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were first announced at the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit in September 2015 to mobilise countries to promote prosperity while protecting the planet. They consist of 17 goals and 169 targets to be achieved by 2030. The creation of the SDGs recognises the need to create strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth. This will help put an end to poverty and other inequalities, while simultaneously tackling climate change and working to preserve our beautiful planet.

AGC Glass Asia Pacific is committed to aligning itself with the SDGs. We have identified several opportunities where we can contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals and the sustainable growth of the AGC Group. Based on these major opportunities, AGC Architectural Glass Asia Pacific General Division has established sustainability targets and strategies for our glass businesses and with the aim of creating social and economic value.
